Renovation Work Indian Land Homeowners Rely On

Greater Charlotte Contracting handles home renovation in Indian Land, SC, from roofing and siding to full kitchen and bathroom remodels. The owner has over 20 years of hands-on construction experience and is on every job personally. If you're sorting through contractor options in Indian Land and want a straight answer about scope and cost, we're available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, at (704) 957-5323. Seventeen Google reviews, all five stars, and not one of them is vague about results.

Indian Land's established neighborhoods like Almond Glen and Rosemont were built out between roughly 2008 and 2021. That housing stock is now at the age where original roofing, exterior finishes, and bathroom fixtures start failing. Piedmont clay soils in this area hold water against foundations for days after a storm, which is something to watch in crawl spaces and anywhere water can pool against a structure. We know what Indian Land homes typically need, and we scope the work honestly before anyone picks up a tool. Building permits for Indian Land work are issued through Lancaster County, and we handle that process as part of the job.

What We Do

Full-Scope Renovation Services in Indian Land Indian Land

One contractor across roofing, interior remodels, exterior work, and repairs, so you're not managing five separate relationships.

Roofing

Repair, replacement, and inspection. This is the owner's 20-year specialty. We've fixed plenty of roofs that other contractors called done.

Kitchen Remodel

Layout changes, cabinet and countertop replacement, tile work, and finish-out. We scope the full project before a quote is written.

Bathroom Remodel

Full remodels and single-fixture swaps, including tub replacement. We handle both because not every job needs to be a gut renovation.

Handyman Services

Vent cover replacement, small repairs, and the jobs that other contractors decline because the margin is thin. We show up.

What Indian Land Housing Stock Actually Needs Actually

Almond Glen and Rosemont are representative of the Indian Land housing wave built from roughly 2008 forward. Homes in that era came with builder-grade roofing, standard fiberglass tubs, and siding that was adequate but not long-lived. Fifteen years in, owners are finding the same pattern: the roof is approaching the end of its reliable life, the tub surround is cracking or discolored, and the original exterior paint or siding is showing wear. We see this regularly. The clay soils here don't help. Water sits against the foundation after rain, and that moisture has to go somewhere. Crawl spaces, basements, and lower-level walls in Indian Land homes can absorb a surprising amount of water over a few seasons if nothing is directing it away. We scope that kind of damage honestly. If a repair is the right call, we'll tell you that, even when a full replacement would have been a bigger job for us.

Our Process

How a Project Gets Done Here

We keep it straightforward from the first call through final walkthrough.

  1. 01

    Honest Estimate

We look at the job in person and write an itemized scope. No padding, no vague line items. You know exactly what you're paying for before anything starts.

  2. 02

    Owner on Site

The owner runs the work. That means decisions get made by someone who knows the project, not relayed through a project manager who hasn't touched a tool.

  3. 03

    Clean Finish

The job isn't done when the visible work is done. Cleanup, inspection, and a walkthrough with you are part of every project, not optional extras.

What Homeowners Here Say About the Work

5.017 verified Google reviews
Clint did such a great job helping us replace some outdoor vent covers. We had a basket style vent cover that had cracked and birds had nested inside. We had previously tried other handymen that would say they would come out and never showed because it was a small job. Clint came out very quickly, in the rain, and made it so much more efficient and esthetically pleasing. He was very affordable and professional. Clint is the MAN! He will now be our go to guy for other projects. I highly recommend him!

So, I just wanted to first of all thank Liz for the great referral to get my home project done. I was a bit nervous however after meeting Clinton, I can’t thank him and his team enough for the job well done to my satisfaction. Clinton listened to what I wanted and delivered just that. Clinton not only listened also very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me a step by step timeline and actually stuck to it. That’s very rare to find in a contractor however his team was awesome and went above and beyond my expectations with the attention to detail. So my rating is really a 10/10. I had a simple garage make over.

Let. Me . Tell . You . Something . Clint is GREAT! He’s done a major project on my home and I couldn’t ask for a better experience with a general contractor . Our current project is converting a half bath to a full bath downstairs . And as I’ve stated everything has been great and it’s not complete but I’m that pleased with the way things have come along to write a review . Communication is very important in things like these and he is nothing short of amazing with his communication and professionalism ! If there was ever a doubt on who to select for your next project , don’t doubt . Reach out to Greater Charlotte Contracting !

We absolutely love our new kitchen. Clint was so easy to work with. Communication through the whole process was outstanding, the job was completed on time and his initial quote was very accurate with nothing going over budget. I highly recommended Greater Charlotte Contracting and will be using them again for future projects.

Had a great experience working with Clint and Greater Charlotte Contracting. He did great work in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable price. I have had a few home projects I’ve needed to complete within the last few months and he has not only provided me great service with these projects, but also has had great referrals for work outside of his scope of business. I would highly recommend anyone looking for work to be done in the Charlotte area to work with Greater Charlotte Contracting.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work in Indian Land, SC, even though the business is based in the Charlotte area?
Yes. Indian Land is a regular part of our service area. The state line isn't a barrier. We work on both the South Carolina side in Indian Land and Fort Mill, and across the North Carolina side in Pineville, Waxhaw, and Matthews. If you're in Indian Land and need a contractor, call (704) 957-5323 during business hours and we'll talk through the project.
Who handles building permits for renovation work in Indian Land?
Indian Land is an unincorporated community, so permits for work there are typically handled through Lancaster County's building department. We're familiar with that process. If your project requires a permit, we factor that into the scope from the start rather than treating it as an afterthought. Skipping the permit step on structural or significant mechanical work creates problems when you sell the home.
Indian Land has clay soil. Does that affect renovation or repair work on my home?
It can. Piedmont clay holds water against foundations for days after a storm. That sustained moisture can drive crawl space issues, foundation seepage, and damage to lower-level framing over time. When we scope a project that involves exterior work, foundation-adjacent areas, or lower-level repairs, we look at drainage and moisture as part of the assessment. A cosmetic fix on top of an active water problem doesn't hold.
My home in Almond Glen or Rosemont is about 10 to 15 years old. What should I be watching for?
Homes built in that 2008 to 2021 window are hitting the age where builder-grade roofing, tub surrounds, and exterior finishes start showing real wear. The roof is the most critical one to address early. A failing roof that's deferred becomes water damage to decking, insulation, and interior framing. We can inspect the roof, siding, and exterior condition and give you an honest read on what needs attention now versus what can wait.
How do you handle curb appeal projects in Indian Land specifically?
Exterior work in Indian Land often makes sense as a combined project, roof, siding, paint, and gutters addressed together rather than separately over several years. We'll scope it that way if it makes financial sense for you. Some homeowners prefer to phase it. Either way, we give you an itemized estimate so you can decide what to move on first. We won't push a full replacement when a targeted repair is the honest answer. Every job is different. Contact Greater Charlotte Contracting for an accurate estimate.
Do you handle small handyman work in Indian Land or only larger renovation projects?
Both. One of our real reviews is a homeowner whose outdoor vent covers needed replacing. Other contractors wouldn't come out because the job was small. We did it, in the rain, and she's now a repeat customer. If you've got a repair that keeps getting passed over because it's not a big enough job for the larger companies, call us. We'd rather build a long-term relationship with a homeowner than chase only the high-dollar jobs.
