Renovation Work Falcon Homeowners Can Rely On

Greater Charlotte Contracting handles home renovation in Falcon, NC for homeowners who want one contractor on-site from start to finish, not a rotating cast of subcontractors. The owner, Clint, brings over 20 years of hands-on roofing and construction experience to every project, from full kitchen remodels and bathroom overhauls to exterior renovation and siding replacement. If you're comparing contractors and want someone who shows up, sticks to the quote, and finishes the job, that's the conversation worth having. Call (704) 957-5323 to get started.

Falcon sits in the Coastal Plain region of North Carolina, where sandy, well-drained soils are common but slow river flooding and storm surge are real seasonal concerns. Homes here can take on water damage in ways that aren't always obvious until a renovation starts and someone pulls back drywall or lifts flooring. That's exactly why hands-on experience matters. Clint has seen what water does to a structure over time, and that kind of site knowledge shapes how we scope every job in this area. Greater Charlotte Contracting currently holds a 5-star rating across 17 Google reviews, earned project by project, not through a marketing campaign.

What We Renovate in Falcon Renovate

One contractor, one conversation, no hand-offs to trades you've never met.

Roofing

Repair, replacement, and inspection. Clint's foundational trade for more than 20 years. Charlotte-area storms don't wait, and neither should a failing roof.

Kitchen Remodel

Layout changes, new cabinetry, tile, fixtures. We've delivered kitchens on time and on budget, as Andy Malenke's review of his new kitchen confirms.

Bathroom Remodel

Full remodels and single-fixture upgrades, including tub replacement. Liz Zimmerman is mid-project on a half-bath-to-full-bath conversion and already recommends us without reservation.

Siding and Exterior Repairs

Storm damage, worn siding, and full exterior refreshes. Robert Persinger's whole-home siding, painting, and window recap job illustrates what a detailed exterior scope looks like.

Interior Repairs and Handyman Work

Drywall, tile, painting, flooring, vent covers. No job is too narrow. Robin Christopher called us for a cracked outdoor vent cover other contractors ignored. We came out in the rain and fixed it.

Home Improvements

Garage makeovers, basement work, restoration after water damage. Danielle Long had us out quickly after water damage in her home. We don't gate-keep smaller jobs to chase bigger ones.

Our Process

How a Falcon Renovation Actually Goes

  1. 01

    Estimate and Scope

Clint walks the job, listens to what you want, and writes a neatly itemized estimate. Nothing vague, no inflated line items. You'll know what you're paying for before a single tool comes out.

  2. 02

Scheduled Work with a Real Timeline

We set a timeline and stick to it. Esther Dueberry noted that a step-by-step schedule and actually following it is rare in this trade. We've made it standard practice, not a selling point.

  3. 03

    On-Site Oversight Through Completion

Clint is present on your job. If something isn't right, it gets corrected before you sign off, not after. Victoria Hitchcock's roof repair fixed every error the previous two contractors left behind.

Local Awareness

What Falcon's Environment Means for Your Home

Falcon's Coastal Plain location shapes the way homes age here in ways that aren't always visible until renovation work begins. Sandy, well-drained soils mean foundations shift differently than they do in heavier clay soils found in other parts of North Carolina. Slow river flooding in this region means moisture intrusion can be gradual and cumulative, working its way into sub-flooring, wall cavities, and roof decking over years before it becomes an obvious problem. There's also the water quality picture. PFAS contamination was detected in wells between Wade and Falcon, originating from a plant roughly 25 miles away. 1,4-dioxane was detected in Falcon's drinking water as recently as March 2026. We're not plumbers or water remediation specialists, but any contractor doing interior renovation in this area should know these conditions exist. They shape material choices, particularly around kitchens and bathrooms where water exposure is constant. North Carolina state law requires a permit from the local inspections department for any change, construction, repair, or removal to a building or structure. Every renovation we scope includes a straight answer about what needs a permit and what doesn't. No shortcuts, no guessing.

What Homeowners Say About Working With Clint

5.017 verified Google reviews
Clint did such a great job helping us replace some outdoor vent covers. We had a basket style vent cover that had cracked and birds had nested inside. We had previously tried other handymen that would say they would come out and never showed because it was a small job. Clint came out very quickly, in the rain, and made it so much more efficient and esthetically pleasing. He was very affordable and professional. Clint is the MAN! He will now be our go to guy for other projects. I highly recommend him!

So, I just wanted to first of all thank Liz for the great referral to get my home project done. I was a bit nervous however after meeting Clinton, I can’t thank him and his team enough for the job well done to my satisfaction. Clinton listened to what I wanted and delivered just that. Clinton not only listened also very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me a step by step timeline and actually stuck to it. That’s very rare to find in a contractor however his team was awesome and went above and beyond my expectations with the attention to detail. So my rating is really a 10/10. I had a simple garage make over.

Let. Me . Tell . You . Something . Clint is GREAT! He’s done a major project on my home and I couldn’t ask for a better experience with a general contractor . Our current project is converting a half bath to a full bath downstairs . And as I’ve stated everything has been great and it’s not complete but I’m that pleased with the way things have come along to write a review . Communication is very important in things like these and he is nothing short of amazing with his communication and professionalism ! If there was ever a doubt on who to select for your next project , don’t doubt . Reach out to Greater Charlotte Contracting !

We absolutely love our new kitchen. Clint was so easy to work with. Communication through the whole process was outstanding, the job was completed on time and his initial quote was very accurate with nothing going over budget. I highly recommended Greater Charlotte Contracting and will be using them again for future projects.

Had a great experience working with Clint and Greater Charlotte Contracting. He did great work in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable price. I have had a few home projects I’ve needed to complete within the last few months and he has not only provided me great service with these projects, but also has had great referrals for work outside of his scope of business. I would highly recommend anyone looking for work to be done in the Charlotte area to work with Greater Charlotte Contracting.

Questions About Renovation in Falcon, NC

Does Greater Charlotte Contracting serve Falcon, NC directly?
Yes. Greater Charlotte Contracting serves Falcon and the surrounding Cumberland County area. Clint is on-site for jobs in this region, not dispatching a crew you've never spoken to. If you're in Falcon and want to talk through a project, call (704) 957-5323 Monday through Friday, 8AM to 6PM.
Do renovation projects in Falcon, NC require permits?
North Carolina state law requires a permit from the local inspections department for construction, repair, change, or removal to any building or structure. That applies in Falcon just as it does across the state. When we scope a project, we'll tell you plainly what needs a permit and handle the coordination. Skipping permits on renovation work creates real problems when you sell the home.
My Falcon home has had water issues. What should I know before starting interior renovations?
The Coastal Plain flooding patterns in this region mean that water damage to sub-flooring and wall cavities can accumulate gradually, often without obvious signs on the surface. Before finishing a basement, replacing flooring, or remodeling a bathroom in a Falcon home, it's worth having an experienced contractor assess what's behind the walls. Danielle Long called us quickly after water damage in her home precisely because catching it early matters. Every job gets looked at honestly, not optimistically.
How does the estimate process work for Falcon homeowners?
Clint walks the job, listens to what you need, and writes an itemized estimate before any work begins. There are no broad stroke guesses and no bait-and-switch scope changes after you've signed on. Multiple homeowners across our review history confirmed the final cost matched the quote they received. Every job is different, so contact Greater Charlotte Contracting for an accurate estimate rather than a number we'd have to walk back later.
What types of exterior work does Greater Charlotte Contracting do for Falcon homes?
Roofing repair and replacement, siding, exterior repairs, painting, and window recap are all within scope. Given Falcon's storm surge and flooding risk in the Coastal Plain, exterior integrity matters more here than in some other parts of North Carolina. Sharon Ruiz's project included siding, tub replacement, and painting, handled by one contractor without juggling multiple vendors. That's the model we work from on every exterior renovation job.
Can Greater Charlotte Contracting handle both exterior and interior renovation on the same Falcon home?
That's actually the cleaner way to run a renovation. Starting from the exterior, checking roofing and siding before opening up walls for interior work, prevents the frustrating sequence where interior finishes get damaged by an unresolved exterior problem. We handle home improvements across both exterior and interior scopes, which means one point of contact and one person accountable for the whole result. Interior repairs are also available as standalone work when that's all you need.
